Hi ! Chances are, if you are here then you have probably already come across a social platform of OKCCAPS / OKC.CAPS. Casual Autism Parents (&Peoples) Social Glad you made it this far! The website is under construction, and is also still on the lookout for affiliates and e-branding opportunities with businesses who are interested in partnership's for safer sensory alternatives. 

 

The 3 main goals are: 

Recreational Recourse, Educational Empowerment & Healthy Habits.
 

What exactly is OKCCAPS?

This is a space for the community to come together and build something new. An opportunity  to help strengthen a safer approach to living life on the spectrum as well as recognizing the more complex end of the spectrum. A place for parents or caregivers to casually find ways to socialize. A place for all ages and all stages to engage with one another, as well as finding new friendships to experience all the things OKC has to offer. OKCCAPS also welcomes any other special need's who would like to join in!

Is this a non-profit?

OKCCAPS/ OKC.CAPS is not a non-profit: We identify as a community initiative club. The goal is to build a community that embraces the needs and challenges of special needs families. A call for change of social norms for restructure. E-branding is a great way to help this cause, while still being able to support the community need. Sponsorships are another way to support this cause.

Want to Contribute?

There will be a need for "Community Helpers" (They are trained to understand how to handle situations that occur within the level of needs of autistic individuals.) There will also be a need for online Admins in the Forums, chatroom moderators, affiliate co-hosts, and of course, spectrum friends and the family who love them beyond measure. We also welcome other disabilities who are interested in joining our neighborhood!
